Our linear units face a variety of challenges - this time, it was toast crumbs. Industrial bakeries operate 24 hours a day, six days a week, and any unplanned breakdown can lead to tons of bread being wasted—in this case, up to 7 tons of bread per hour.
Due to frequent unplanned downtimes, the end customer wanted to modify the system. We were happy to help and by optimizing our scraper system we were able to ensure smooth operation. As of today, we have successfully extended the planned maintenance cycle to six months.
The trial spanned several months and was actively supported on-site by our sales and service team.
