Multiple units
All unit sizes of the HSB-beta® series with screw or toothed belt drive can be converted to
double or multiple units.
The profiles are screwed or glued together. This creates a flat and wide linear unit. A joint
carriage plate allows the absorption of high torques in the Mx direction.
HSB-beta® 70-C-ZSS
The use of a joint drive enables the generation of greater feed forces. Using individual carriage plates makes it possible to create opposing movements and varying speeds.
HSB-beta® 80-SSS
The combination of double profile with two driven and two loose carriages is a common variant
of a multiple unit with screw drive. It combines excellent function with compact size. In the past, even quintuple units with up to ten independent drives have been created. It is also possible to implement different pitches.
